Annual Event 2017

Growing Minds, Building Independence

When: Sunday • October 8, 2017 • 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Where: Central Cinema • 1411 21st Avenue • Seattle (Street parking is plentiful)

What:  Self sufficiency. Independence. Opportunity. Helping to make these possible for youth and communities facing extreme obstacles is the core of EKARI’s mission. Learn more about our work to build independence through comedic skits written and performed by our partners in Malawi. Experience a day in the life of a Malawian through interactive exhibits. Enjoy food, drinks, conversations with Elias (our In-Country Director) and exciting giveaways including a B & B package to Todos Santos, Mexico!

Who: All ages are welcome. (Tickets must be purchased for children ages 5 and up.)

Why: EKARI’s work represents the next evolution in the approach to poverty alleviation. We are not trying to solve problems for our beneficiaries. We are solving it with them, so that one day they can solve problems for themselves and each other. We need your financial support to continue this work.

How: Limited seating is available. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE! $25 per ticket.
