Dickson is the third born in a family of eight children. Both of his parents are alive, but were unable to support all of their children’s educations due to lack of finances. Dickson received tuition assistance for high school from the local Phalombe Social Welfare Office for a short time until the office ran out of funding.
With EKARI Foundation’s support, Dickson graduated from high school and went on to receive his Diploma in Food Nutrition and Livelihood Security from Malawi’s Natural Resources College in 2015! Through our Apprenticeship Program, he is now employed!
